The MDS Coordinator works with the interdisciplinary team to ensure resident assessments are accurate, timely, and compliant to optimize care and outcomes. Key duties include overseeing the Restorative Program, participating in pre-admission processes, setting ARDs for PPS MDS Assessments, and accurately coding MDS data.
Candidates must possess a current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license and MDS certification through AAPACN. Required knowledge includes the RAI process, case management, MDS 3.0/PDPM, and proficiency in ICD-10 coding for long-term care.
