The Licensed Professional Counselor will provide professional substance abuse and mental health counseling, coordinating medication management and developing individualized treatment plans for patients. Responsibilities also include conducting various therapy sessions, crisis intervention, and completing necessary clinical documentation.
Candidates must possess a Master's degree in a relevant field such as Clinical Social Work, Clinical Psychology, or hold a Licensed Professional Counselor license, along with maintaining an Oklahoma license (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or LBP). Essential requirements include excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and strong abilities in problem analysis and resolution.
Provide professional substance abuse and mental health counseling to patients.
Coordinates medication management with psychiatrist, psychologist and medical providers. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with current diagnosis. Provide individual, family, and group therapy for patients. Schedule follow-up appointments with patients. Conduct mental health and substance abuse assessments and diagnosis. Crisis intervention – walk in, phone, or medical department referral. Complete referrals and applications for patient in need of residential treatment. Chart clinical date for diagnosis, treatment, referral, accountability and research. Serve on committees as assigned. Other duties as assigned.
Essential skills and experience: Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work, Licensed Professional Counselor, Clinical Psychology or related field. Holds and maintains an Oklahoma license to practice i.e., LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or LBP. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Problem analysis and problem resolution at both a strategic and functional level.
Experience supervising a team.
