The role involves performing all required limited scope X-ray procedures, maintaining accurate records, and assisting physicians with patient examinations and treatments. Duties also include interviewing patients, measuring vital signs, performing venipuncture, and accurately documenting all information in the Electronic Medical Record.
Candidates must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent, along with a Medical Assistant Certificate of Completion and one year of experience as a Medical Assistant. Required certifications include a Medical Assistant certificate (must be obtained within six months if not already held), current BLS/CPR certification, and Limited Scope of Practice Rad Tech Certification.
