Responsibilities

• Responsible for providing bedside presence to assure the safety of a patient who is a safety risk to self or others, disoriented, confused or a Baker Act.
• Alerts Nursing Staff to any patient care needs.
• Sitters may assist with simple patient needs such as water or help with feeding, but only under the direction of the Registered Nurse.
• Demonstrates Service Excellence at all times.
• Other duties as assigned.
