The Vocational Nurse provides direct nursing care to an assigned group of patients, participating in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of their nursing care. This includes performing essential procedures, safely administering medications and treatments, and documenting all care according to established protocols.
Candidates must have graduated from a Licensed Vocational Nurse Program and possess a current vocational nurse license or temporary permit in Texas, with no prior experience required. A current BLS-HP certification is mandatory for this role.
Graduation from a Licensed Vocational Nurse Program and current license/permit as a vocational nurse in the State of Texas. No experience required. Current BLS-HP required. Will consider recent graduates with temporary permits. Salary is commensurate with years of relevant work experience.
