The Clinical Pharmacist validates the accuracy and appropriateness of medication orders, compounds medications, and accurately dispenses prescribed medications according to professional standards. They also provide consultative services to internal and external constituents regarding medications and document clinical activities.
Candidates must possess a Doctorate Degree, although a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered as an alternative. A Pennsylvania Pharmacist License is required within four months of the hire date, though eligibility for licensure may be accepted initially.
