This role involves working under the supervision of a registered Radiologic Technologist to operate radiology equipment, verify patient identity, and assist with patient preparation and procedural explanations. The incumbent will also be responsible for acquiring appropriate images, reviewing initial observations, maintaining room stock, and participating in quality improvement activities.
Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of one year of training in an accredited Radiologic Technology school (or 9 months at a DMC school), and successful completion of AHA BLS certification by the end of orientation. Preferred experience includes two to four months of clinical rotational experience as a student.
