The CT technologist performs quality CT exams using appropriate technical skills and protocols while ensuring patient safety, education, and radiation protection. Responsibilities also include maintaining documentation in RIS and PACS, generating imaging for radiologists, and providing clinical supervision to students.
Candidates must successfully complete an accredited Radiologic Technology Program and possess a New York State Radiologic Technologist License, along with ARRT CT certification or eligibility (must obtain within one year of hire). A minimum of one year of radiologic technologist experience including CT responsibilities is preferred.
