The Cardiac Sonographer is responsible for learning and applying echocardiography techniques to perform various procedures according to established protocols. They ensure timely execution of procedures and coordinate communication among medical staff to facilitate patient care.
Candidates must be a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer or Registered Cardiac Sonographer, with a preference for those holding CPR certifications and a bachelor's degree in Health Sciences. A minimum of two years of experience performing echocardiography exams is required.
Learns and applies echocardiograph techniques in order to competently perform all commonly applied procedures according to set protocols established by cardiologists.
