The therapist provides comprehensive clinical social work services, including individual, group, and family therapy, discharge planning, case management, and crisis intervention within a multidisciplinary team on an acute adult inpatient psychiatric unit. This role focuses on addressing psychosocial needs to ensure safe community return upon discharge.
A Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field is required, along with licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT, or eligibility for licensure in Montana. One year of healthcare experience and BLS certification are preferred.
The Inpatient Psychiatric Unit Therapist works within a multidisciplinary team to provide services to patients in an acute adult inpatient behavioral health setting. This position joins with other members of the team to stabilize patients in a mental health crisis. The Therapist provides comprehensive clinical social work services, such as therapy (individual, group, and family), discharge planning, case management, care coordination, psychoeducation, and crisis intervention. This position seeks to address the psychosocial needs of the patients and their families in order for a safe return to the community upon discharge from the inpatient unit. This position is for a fully licensed therapist within the state of Montana.
Master Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field Licensed as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT or licensure eligible in the state of Montana American Heart Association BLS Preferred: One (1) years of experience in the health care field.

The position may necessitate working beyond a standard 40-hour workweek, including weekends and after-hours shifts. On-call work may be required to respond promptly to organizational, patient, or employee needs. Exposures (Continuously): Bloodborne pathogens, such as blood, bodily fluids, or tissues. Radiation in settings where medical imaging procedures are performed. Various chemicals and medications are used in healthcare settings. Job tasks may involve handling cleaning products, disinfectants, and other substances. Infectious diseases are caused by contact with patients in areas that may have contagious illnesses.
