The Intake Pharmacy Technician creates patient profiles and processes orders in a timely manner from electronic prescription and fax queues, while also requesting refill prescriptions as appropriate. This role involves managing incoming documents from the fax server and ensuring timely order processing.
Candidates must be a licensed/registered pharmacy technician as required by state law, possessing at least one year of pharmacy technician experience, knowledge of medical terminology including sig codes and Roman numerals, and intermediate typing skills. Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written, and customer service skills, along with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines, are also required.

• Required: High School Diploma or GED, licensed/registered pharmacy technician or as required by state law, Previous Experience in Pharmacy
