The Pharmacist is responsible for ensuring the safe, effective, and timely use of medications throughout the medical center, overseeing procurement, storage, preparation, and administration of all medications. Services provided include Outpatient Medical Building Prescription Services, Bedside Medication Program, and Long Term Care/Sub Acute Care, all while adhering to state and federal regulations.
Candidates must possess a Bachelor of Science (Rph) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree recognized by the California State Board of Pharmacy and hold current registration with the board. Required qualifications include knowledge of pharmacokinetic principles, pharmacology, drug monitoring, and experience with Medicare/Medi-Cal policies, along with the ability to work in a union environment.
