The role involves conducting substance abuse assessments using DSM and ASAM criteria and developing/implementing individualized treatment plans for patients. Responsibilities also include providing various forms of therapy, maintaining accurate documentation, and collaborating with the multidisciplinary treatment team.
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, or Social Work, along with a minimum of three years of experience in substance use treatment or related mental health counseling. Licensure or certification as required by Indiana state regulations, including credentialing under DMHA (e.g., LCSW, LMHC, LCAC), is mandatory.
