The Registered Nurse assists in providing nursing care to patients in a same-day surgery setting, assuming total responsibility for patient care according to physician orders and center policies. This includes assessing, developing, and implementing total nursing care for post-operative patients, administering medications, and managing patient discharge.
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing, holding a current Registered Nurse License along with current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications. Required abilities include independent functioning in emergencies, accurate pain/nausea assessment, and maintaining patient privacy.
RN - Recovery
Assists in provision of nursing care to patients in a same day surgery setting. Assumes total responsibility for patient care in accordance with physician’s orders and centers policies. Monitors and controls use of and charging for supplies utilized in the center.
