The Cardiovascular Technician performs highly specialized hemodynamic monitoring procedures and assists physicians during all procedures, working with patients ranging from adolescents to geriatrics. Additionally, this role involves training Cardiovascular Technicians and other Cath Lab personnel and completing required competencies.
Candidates must have a minimum of two years of experience in Interventional Cath Lab or Electrophysiology, along with a graduate certificate or degree in health science or equivalent education. Required certifications include RCIS or RCES, and new hires must obtain active BLS upon hire and complete AHA Healthcare Provider BLS and ACLS within 60 days.
