The technician creates patient profiles and processes orders from electronic and fax queues, while also generating and typing prescriptions for pharmacist verification. Responsibilities include managing incoming documents, requesting refills, and clarifying patient demographic and clinical information needed for prescription processing.
Candidates must be a licensed/registered pharmacy technician with at least one year of pharmacy experience, possessing knowledge of medical terminology, medication names, and basic math/analytical skills. Strong organizational, detail-oriented, and communication skills are essential for working independently in a high-volume setting.

• Required: High School Diploma or GED, licensed/registered pharmacy technician or as required by state law, Previous Experience in Pharmacy
