The primary duty involves accurately administering radiation therapy treatments under supervision, ensuring precise beam positioning and dose delivery corresponding to the designated tumor volume. Responsibilities also include maintaining patient records, assisting with scheduling and billing, and fabricating necessary treatment aids like blocks and molds.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited radiation therapy technology program and hold current ARRT certification along with a valid state radiation therapy license. Experience levels dictate the title, with Senior Radiation Therapist requiring 5+ years of active practice, though Halcyon and IX Linac experience is preferred.

Graduate of an accredited radiation therapy technology program. ARRT certification required. Must hold valid state license for radiation therapy. Halcyon and IX Linac experience preffered Radition Therapist I: requires 0-3 years of experience Radiation Therapist II : requires 3-5 years of experience actively practicing as an RTT. Senior Radiation Therapist : requires 5+ years of experience actively practicing as an RTT.
