The Intake Pharmacy Technician creates patient profiles and processes orders in a timely manner from electronic prescription and fax queues, while also requesting refill prescriptions as appropriate. This role involves managing incoming documents from the fax server and ensuring timely processing of patient intake information.
Candidates must be a licensed/registered pharmacy technician as required by state law, possessing knowledge of medical terminology, brand/generic drug names, and basic math/analytical skills. A minimum of 1 year of Pharmacy Technician experience is required, along with excellent communication and organizational abilities to work efficiently in a high-volume setting.
• Required: High School Diploma or GED, licensed/registered pharmacy technician or as required by state law, Previous Experience in Pharmacy
• Required: Independent worker, good interpersonal skills, excellent verbal and written communications skills, ability to work independently, work efficiently to meet deadlines and be flexible, detail-oriented, great time-management skills
