The Pharmacist delivers comprehensive outpatient and limited inpatient pharmacy services, ensuring the safe, accurate, and effective preparation, dispensing, and management of medications according to federal regulations and professional standards. Key duties include verifying prescriptions, compounding medications, reviewing patient records for safety, counseling patients, and consulting with providers on therapy optimization.
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy (BS or PharmD) and hold an active, unrestricted pharmacist license in any U.S. state, territory, or D.C. A minimum of two years of recent experience providing pharmacist services in a clinical healthcare setting and current BCLS certification are also required.

This role is responsible for ensuring the safe, accurate, and effective preparation, dispensing, and management of medications while adhering to all applicable federal regulations, professional standards, and facility policies. Pharmacists may rotate between the Santa Fe Indian Health Center and the Santa Clara Health Center based on operational and patient care needs.
