The role also requires instructing patients on post-discharge diets and monitoring their nutritional status while communicating with physicians and other disciplines.
Candidates must be registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the American Dietetic Association and hold state licensure, with a Bachelor's or advanced degree in Food & Nutrition. One year of Clinical Dietetics experience is preferred, and membership in the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics is desired.
Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the American Dietetic Association State licensure required. Membership in the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics preferred.
