Therapists must maintain a high standard of care by staying current with occupational therapy research and employing Evidence Based Practice.
Candidates must be a graduate of an AOTA-accredited school of occupational therapy and possess CPR certification and a valid driver's license. A minimum of two years of experience specifically in Hand Therapy is required for this role.
Collaboration: Supervise assistants and aides and contribute to case management. High Standard of Care: Stay current and up to date with occupational therapy research and employ Evidence Based Practice (RCB, clinician expertise, patient perception). Personalized Treatment: Provide comprehensive and individualized treatment, from evaluating and creating a plan of care to treatment and discharge. Relationship-Building: Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients. Enhance and expand client relations with facilities and their staff.
