The Specialist is responsible for planning, developing, and coordinating events and programming for residents and family members, creating an environment of wellness and engagement throughout the organization. Key duties include leading creative community events, organizing volunteers, preparing activity assessments and progress notes, and implementing wellness programs.
Candidates must be creative with excellent listening, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, and be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. A CNA certification is preferred, along with two years of experience in social or recreational programming in a healthcare setting, preferably working with residents with Dementia.
