The primary duties involve performing manual adjustments to the spine and other articulations, and evaluating the functioning of the neuromuscular skeletal system using chiropractic diagnostic systems. Providers must also diagnose health problems, maintain accurate patient histories, and advise on recommended courses of treatment.
Minimum requirement is holding a Maryland Doctor of Chiropractic License, with additional courses in physical therapy being advantageous. Candidates must possess knowledge in medicine for diagnosing and treating injuries, as well as principles of customer service and therapy/counseling.
