The Chaplain/Spiritual Counselor will support hospice families by offering grief counseling and connecting them with community resource referrals. This role also involves facilitating visits from local clergy and documenting all provided services and patient progress in the electronic medical record.
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in theology, religion, human services, counseling, psychology, or sociology, along with a Master's Degree in counseling, psychology, theology, or divinity. A minimum of three years of active work in spiritual care ministry/program is required, with preference given to those with one year in hospice spiritual care support and one year of clinical pastoral education.
