The Dental Assistant will support the dentist chair-side during all clinical procedures, manage charting accuracy, and provide thorough dental education to patients. Key duties also involve taking diagnostic radiographs, adhering to infection control protocols, and coordinating operatory setup and sterilization.
A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with State of Michigan Radiology Certification within 60 days and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Candidates need knowledge of dental terminology, chair-side techniques, and insurance/prior authorizations, along with strong organizational and communication skills.

Externship / internship / apprenticeship applicable. 4.
Travel may be required to various GLBHC sites. Reimbursement consistent with GLBHC’s policy.

Certificate of completion from an accredited dental assisting program preferred. 2.
Two (2) years of dental assisting experience is preferred. 3.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
