The Occupational Therapy Assistant will provide comprehensive skilled services, including home-based therapy, as directed by the attending physician and goals set by the Occupational Therapist. Key duties involve assessing functional problems, implementing interventions, educating patients and families, and ensuring patient safety.
Candidates must possess a current Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) license in the state of employment and a minimum of one year of experience as an OTA, preferably in an acute care setting with home care experience being a plus. A valid driver's license and auto insurance are also mandatory.
