The Sonographer II PD operates sonographic and related equipment to assist physicians in diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures for patients of all ages, requiring thorough knowledge of anatomy and pathology related to ultrasound imaging. This role involves coordinating patient flow, ensuring efficient and safe production of quality images, and mentoring new sonographers.
Candidates must possess knowledge of possible procedure complications and the ability to respond appropriately, along with strong interpersonal skills and effective professional communication. Preferred qualifications include graduation from an accredited Ultrasound Program with supervised scanning experience, specific RDMS/RVT certifications, and experience performing general and vascular exams.

Responsibilities include: Coordinates patient flow and responsible for producing quality images efficiently and safely. Mentors new sonographers.

General, OB/GYN, Small Part, and procedure assistance experience. Vascular ultrasound experience. One (1) year of non-imaging transcranial Doppler (TCD) training.
