Candidates must qualify as either an LPN or a Medical Assistant Specialist, with specific educational and licensing requirements for each path. LPNs need a graduate degree from an accredited school and an active Florida license, while Medical Assistants require a high school diploma/GED, completion of an accredited program or relevant experience, and must obtain certification within 90 days.
Description THE IDEAL CANDIDATE NEED TO BE AN LPN OR A MEDICAL ASSISTANT Essential Functions · Identifies and evaluates patient needs by way of telephone triage. · Administers medication including injections; documents medication given or prescribed by ordering physician as required. · Identifies patient and family education needs and provides instruction. · Recognizes and responds to emergency situations as appropriate. · Adheres to the Clinical Services policies and procedures when documenting information patient’s medical records · Facilitates the flow of patients to maintain the integrity of the physician’s office. · Assists the physician with medical office procedures. · Maintain the integrity of the office.
LPN Specialist requirements are: Required Education and Experience: Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Practical Nursing. Must possess active Florida license as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Preferred Education and Experience: Experience or training in a medical health care facility as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
