The Pharmacist is responsible for the safe and effective use of medications by accurately dispensing them, reviewing orders for appropriateness, and providing clinical support to healthcare professionals. This role also involves counseling patients, participating in medication safety initiatives, and collaborating with the clinical team to optimize patient outcomes.
Candidates must possess either a Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, along with 0-1 years of hospital or retail pharmacy experience. A Registered Pharmacist (RPH) license in the state of employment is required, while a Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist (BCPS) certification is preferred.

Strong understanding of pharmacology, drug interactions, and evidence-based therapeutic practices. Proficiency in using pharmacy software systems and electronic health records. Commitment to patient safety and continuous quality improvement.
