The dietitian will perform comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans for patients in a specialty area, providing medical nutrition therapy and education to support recovery and improve health outcomes. This role also involves applying evidence-based practice, contributing to quality improvement, collaborating with the food service team, and supporting staff/intern development.
Candidates must be a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) or CDR exam eligible, and licensed or willing to obtain licensure in the state of practice. Two years of work experience in a specialty area is preferred.

This hybrid inpatient and outpatient position provides advanced medical nutrition therapy within a hospital-based cardiology and transplant clinic. The dietitian delivers comprehensive nutrition care to patients with advanced heart failure, including those undergoing evaluation for and management with ventricular assist devices (VAD) and heart transplantation, as well as supporting the heart failure clinic.
