Candidates must possess a Doctor of Optometry degree (O.D.) including a Third Party Administrator (TPA) certificate of licensure, and demonstrate strong verbal/written communication and organizational skills. New graduates are encouraged to apply, though 1-3 years of clinical experience is typically expected.

As the newest member of our team, you'll work 30 to 40 hours weekly and perform comprehensive eye examinations, recommend eyewear, and determine contact lens prescriptions—the practice is open Monday through Saturday. You'll enjoy caring for patients in a modernized practice with access to behind-the-scenes functional technology, including Optomap (retinal scanning), OCT (retinal scanning), FDT (visual field testing), Pentacam (advanced scanning of corneal topography), EnChroma (color vision technology), and auto-refractors—plus, highly-trained staff to support you throughout examinations.
Located in California's Central Valley, surrounded by natural beauty, Stockton is situated along the San Joaquin Delta and is a culturally rich and diverse city—plus, it offers perfect weather all year long. With access to iconic locations such as Yosemite National Park, Lake Tahoe, and Sequoia National Park, residents can easily explore the outdoors. Doctor of Optometry degree, O.D. including Third Party Administrator (TPA) certificate of licensure
1-3 years of clinical practice experience with current knowledge of Optometric technology and practices; new graduates are encouraged to apply
Strong verbal and written communication skills

Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in the performance of his/her job duties
The working environment is generally favorable, lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc.
