The Psychiatrist will help lead the developing co-occurring disorders program across all levels of care, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to assess and treat patients with substance use and other mental disorders. Responsibilities also include enhancing mental health care delivery and educating staff on best practices for managing co-occurring disorders.
Candidates must possess a Doctorate (MD) and a current license to practice medicine in the appropriate state, along with being Board Certified or Board Eligible in a medical specialty, with certification required within two years if eligible. Required qualifications also include addiction-related medical practice experience, a satisfactory background check, a DEA Certificate, and current BLS certification.
