The Medical Assistant/Patient Representative supports the clinical team by completing the patient rooming process, taking vital signs, performing in-house lab work, and documenting patient data in the electronic health record system. This role also involves maintaining the cleanliness and stock of the clinical area and handling basic clerical duties like answering phones.
The minimum education requirement is a High School diploma or GED along with a Medical Assistant Training Certificate, though an Associate's degree with the certificate is preferred. A minimum of 0-1 year of related work experience is required, and proficiency in Spanish is preferred.

A Medical Assistant/Patient Representative helps patients and the clinical team at designated health center in support of medical care as directed by the nursing and medical staff and pursuant to the objectives and policies of the Center. This position performs job duties in compliance with systems and job specific standards and additional jobs or duties assigned.
Minimum Education Requirement: High School diploma/ GED with Medical Assistant Training Certificate
Preferred Education Requirement: Associate's degree with Medical Assistant Training Certificate
Minimum Related Work Experience: 0-1 year
Preferred Specialized Skills & Knowledge: Bilingual Spanish is preferred
