The technologist performs imaging procedures and treatments according to radiology standards to assist in diagnosis and/or treatment of disease. Responsibilities include developing and implementing procedure plans, maintaining equipment, and participating in performance improvement activities.
Candidates must demonstrate a thorough understanding of radiologic principles and utilize appropriate techniques for optimal procedures, completing necessary documentation and maintaining safe work areas. Minimum experience required is 6 months in the specialty area, and registration by ARRT in Radiography is mandatory, with CT registry preferred.
Performs imaging procedures/treatments according to radiology practice standards in order to aid in the diagnosis and/or treatment of disease. Performs other duties as assigned.
