Facilitate clinical reviews to determine the medical necessity of patient admissions and continued stays. Collaborate with payers and interdisciplinary teams to manage insurance authorizations and submit appeals for denied services.
A Bachelor's degree is required, with a Master's degree and a clinical license strongly preferred. Experience in utilization review within a psychiatric healthcare facility is desired.
