The Registered Nurse performs plan of care interventions, including medication administration and clinical treatments, while monitoring and documenting patient conditions. They collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care and provide essential education and advocacy for patients and their families.
Applicants must hold a current Alabama or compact state RN license and an associate's degree in nursing, with a bachelor's degree preferred. Basic Life Support is required, and ACLS, PALS, and Handle with Care certifications are preferred or must be obtained within 30 days.

North Alabama Medical Center, opened its doors in 2018, as the replacement facility for Eliza Coffee Memorial Hospital, in Florence, Alabama. North Alabama Medical Center serves as a regional facility with more than 200 physicians on staff who represent more than 42 specialty areas of medicine.
The 263 bed facility offers the community’s only open heart surgery site, a complete line of women’s and children’s services and a complete line of medical and imaging services.
North Alabama Medical Center is a Certified Chest Pain center with a team of cardiologists available 24/7 and is recognized as a Primary Stroke Center of Excellence by the American Heart/American Stroke Association. North Alabama Medical Center’s 24-hour emergency department serves as the primary referral center for major trauma cases in Northwest Alabama.
