Med Techs are responsible for administering and accurately recording prescribed medications under nurse supervision, obtaining and reporting vital signs, and managing medication supplies. They also provide personal care, assist residents with daily living activities, and observe/report changes in resident condition.
Candidates should ideally have six months of experience passing medications in a retirement community setting, although CMA certification is a plus but not required. The ideal candidate must be able to communicate effectively in English, and possess caring, organized, and multi-tasking abilities.
