Phlebotomists will perform proper specimen collection and labeling procedures for routine and special procedures. They will ensure timely transport and distribution of specimens to all sections of the laboratory for immediate processing and testing.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency. A minimum of 2 years of experience in an outpatient setting is required, along with proficiency in various blood collection techniques.
