The Radiation Therapist I/II will deliver prescribed radiation therapy to patients of all ages, reinforcing care recommendations and managing treatment side effects. Responsibilities also include performing simulation procedures, assisting in dosimetry, and conducting daily quality assurance checks on linear accelerators.
Candidates must have a High School diploma or equivalent, specialized training from an accredited Radiation Therapy Education Program, and be licensed by the California State Department of Health, holding ARRT Certification in Radiation Therapy and current BLS or CPR certification. Experience level determines placement as Radiation Therapist I (<3 years) or II (>3 years).
