The role involves performing nursing assistance and personal care for residents with physical or mental impairments while adhering to State and Federal regulatory guidelines. Essential functions also include performing directed treatment measures, ensuring resident comfort and safety through continuous checks, and maintaining organized resident units.
Candidates must successfully complete an Illinois-approved Basic Nursing Assistant Training Program (minimum 120 hours) and must be included on the Illinois Department of Public Health Nurse Aide Registry within 60 days of hire. Employment is conditional upon passing a background check, drug screen, pre-employment physical, and maintaining CPR certification.
