The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for providing nursing care to individuals under the supervision of the Director of Nursing. Key tasks include administering medications, assessing physical status, documenting care, and participating in healthcare planning.
Candidates must be graduates of a recognized one-year practical nurse program and hold a current Pennsylvania registration. A minimum of one year of experience in an acute care facility or related field is required.

Verland is currently seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join the team at our Main Campus in Sewickley PA. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for providing Exceptional Care to the individuals that call Verland their Home.
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for the nursing care of individuals under the supervision of the Director of Nursing (DON). This is an hourly, non-exempt position.
Must possess a working knowledge of professional standards and current nursing trends. Must have the ability to comprehend individuals’ records and physicians’ orders and to communicate information effectively. Must be able to establish working relationships with other members of the IDT. Must be able to document individuals’ care in a comprehensive manner according to professional and legal standards. Minimum Training and Experience: Must be a graduate of a recognized one-year practical nurse program and hold a current Pennsylvania registration. Must have at least one year of experience in an acute care facility or related field (rehabilitation, extended care facility). Must have all required clearances and maintain a valid driver’s license.
