The Patient Care Technician I assists doctors and nursing staff in meeting the basic needs of patients. Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, monitoring vital signs, and reporting changes in patients' conditions.
A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with strong interpersonal skills preferred. Prior acute care experience is strongly preferred, and BLS certification is required within three months of hire.
Responsible for assisting doctors/nursing staff in ensuring that the basic needs of each patient are met. Daily tasks might include things like feeding and cleaning the patient or monitoring vital signs and health.
