The Pharmacy Technician will perform pharmaceutical dispensing duties, including outpatient prescription production, and monitor for drug interactions. They will also manage supply duties, including ordering and inventory maintenance, while working as part of a team to provide patient care.
Candidates must have graduated from an accredited Pharmacy Technician program or hold certification from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board. Additionally, a minimum of 12 months of full-time experience as a pharmacy technician within the last 36 months is required.
Degree/Education: Graduation from a Pharmacy Technician program accredited by the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP), OR certification by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB), OR successful completion of a formal pharmacy technician training program (i.e., a technical, hospital, or retail-based program). A minimum of 12 months of full-time experience within the last 36 months as a pharmacy technician. Valid BLS A current, valid state license as a physical therapy assistant in any one of the fifty States, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam, or the U.S. Virgin Islands.
