The Certified Medical Assistant will support patient care by assisting medical and nursing staff during examinations and procedures, collecting laboratory specimens, and performing basic laboratory tests. Administrative duties include scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and handling billing and insurance forms.
Candidates must graduate from an accredited medical assistant program and hold certification from recognized bodies such as AAMA or AMT. A high school diploma or GED is required, and Level I positions require no experience while Level II requires one year of clinical experience.
