The Dental Hygienist assesses patient needs and delivers direct dental care under the supervision of a qualified Dentist. The role also includes performing clerical duties related to the dental program.
Candidates must have a certificate or diploma from an accredited Dental Hygiene program and obtain licensure as a Dental Hygienist in New Mexico. Additional certifications in BLS/CPR and local anesthesia are required within specified timeframes.
