The Physician provides direct medical care to patients independently under the oversight of the Site Medical Director. The role involves operating within the terms of various contracts and grants to fund programs and projects.
Candidates must be a graduate of an approved medical school and hold a current New Mexico medical license, DEA license, and CSR. Board certification in Family Medicine is strongly preferred, along with BLS/CPR or ACLS certification.
This is a professional position of a highly complex nature involving the direct medical care of patients. The work is performed independently with clinical oversight provided by the Site Medical Director and/or Vice President of Clinical Affairs. The Physician must operate in accordance with the terms and conditions of the various contracts and grants providing for the funding of programs and projects.
