Provide nursing care to patients in an assigned clinical area under the supervision of licensed medical professionals. Ensure patient safety and comfort while organizing care based on the basic needs of multiple patients.
Must be a graduate of an approved vocational nursing program with a valid Texas LVN license and BLS certification. Requires at least 6 months of clinical experience or completion of a KSC LVN Residency program.
We are seeking qualified candidates for the role of Per Diem Licensed Vocational Nurse at varying levels (I, II, III). The selected candidate will be placed at the appropriate level based on qualifications and experience. All levels contribute to patient care under the supervision of licensed medical professionals, with increasing responsibilities at higher levels.
Per Diem LVN I The vocational nurse provides nursing care to patients in an assigned clinical area, under the supervision of a Nurse Supervisor, or Nurse Coordinator The LVN applies clinical nursing knowledge and utilizes demonstrated skills to ensure the safety and comfort of patients and families according to legal, organizational and professional standards The LVN identifies priorities and makes judgments concerning the basic needs of multiple patients to organize care Per Diem LVN II Includes all duties of a Per Diem LVN I Per Diem LVN III Includes all duties of a Per Diem LVN I/II

Graduate from an approved vocational nursing program Current and valid Texas LVN license BLS through the American Heart Association 6+ months in a clinical area or successful completion of a KSC LVN Residency program Proven ability to use equipment and related supplies for selected patient population for the assigned clinical area. For Per Diem LVN II: 4+ years in a clinical area (Licensed Vocational Nurse II) For Per Diem LVN III: 9+ years in a clinical area (Licensed Vocational Nurse III)
