The Multi-Modality Technologist performs a minimum of two different imaging procedures and provides on-call coverage for these modalities. The role emphasizes patient-centered care and adherence to the standards of practice for registered technologists.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and be a graduate of an accredited Radiology discipline. They are required to hold certifications in at least two different Radiology modalities and have 1-2 years of clinical radiology experience.
The Multi-Modality Technologist is credentialled to perform at a minimum of two (2) MRI, CT, diagnostic, US, IR, Mammography or Nuclear Medicine procedures. This position must support the second or additional modalities on a routine basis by being available to work in the modality and must be able to provide on call coverage for these modalities. Strives to provide patient centered care. Upholds the standard of practice of a registered technologist.
