The Registered Dental Assistant assists the Dental Provider in various dental treatments and serves as a liaison to ensure patients receive appropriate care. Responsibilities include maintaining patient records, preparing patients for treatment, and providing oral health education.
Candidates must have a high school diploma and a Registered Dental Assistant Licensure, along with X-ray certification and current CPR training. Experience in a dental office setting and knowledge of EMRs is preferred.

The Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) is responsible to assist the Dental Provider in all phases of restorative, prosthodontic, surgical, endodontic, pediatric and periodontal treatment as provided in general dentistry. Serves as a liaison between the Dental Providers and Care Team supervisor to ensure patients receive appropriate care. The RDA must interact in a positive manner with staff, patients, families, and members of the community.
