The Vascular Technologist is responsible for preparing patients for diagnostic procedures, conducting noninvasive examinations, and reviewing ultrasound images. They ensure the delivery of patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient outcomes.
Candidates are required to have a bachelor's degree in vascular sonography or a related field, along with state licensure as a Registered Vascular Technologist. Certification by ARDMS or ARRT and AHA BLS are also required.

Vascular technologists assist doctors to determine a patient’s vascular health. They prepare patients for diagnostic procedures, conduct noninvasive examinations, and review ultrasound images.
